convenient stay close to everything
quiet experience local shop easy transport
i appreciated the location being a bit removed from the main tourist areas. it allowed for a quieter experience. i found plenty of local shops, pubs, and restaurants nearby, convenient. the bus stops were close by for easy transport.
the room's decor looked somewhat outdated. the bathroom seemed not very clean, specifically some hairs were visible.

my single room included a private bathroom. it provided sufficient space to accommodate my luggage. i could still move around the room without feeling cramped plus the mattress felt comfortable.

tea and coffee making facilities were available directly in my room. this allowed me to easily prepare hot beverages whenever i wanted. a grocery store was located right across the street, very practical.

the residential location provided a quiet atmosphere. despite this, i was still able to reach the city center on foot. frequent bus services were also readily accessible if i preferred not to walk.

the host, neil, was quite friendly and helpful. he provided useful recommendations regarding scotch and local dining options. he was also very responsive to my needs, such as when i requested an iron.
